Health and Safety Code 11834.36 says the director may suspend or revoke any license issued under this chapter, as well as any other licenses issued under this chapter to operate an adult alcohol or other drug recovery or treatment facility held by the same person or entity, or deny an application for licensure, upon grounds including violation of this chapter or regulations adopted pursuant to this chapter, repeated violation, conduct inimical to the health, morals, welfare, or safety of an individual in or receiving services from the facility, misrepresentation of any material fact in obtaining the license, the licensee's refusal to allow the department entry into the facility to determine compliance, violation of Section 11834.026, and failure to pay any civil penalties assessed by the department.
